Who We Were
As human civilization nears extinction, Earth launches a final mission.
Small crews, known as Civilization Obituarists, hitchhike across the galaxy, drifting through cosmic storms, alien networks, and dying stars. Their task is to carry humanity’s last ashes—literal human remains, DNA, voices, and art—into the depths of space–and bury them.
Each place they travel, each monument they leave, becomes both a memorial and a tomb.
It’s not about saving the humanity—they are writing its obituary.
